The industrial visit which was organized by me was a success! It was held yesterday, on 27th Jan, at the Luster Precision Engineering Sdn. Bhd., Sungai Petani, Kedah. Twenty of first year degree students of Manufacturing Engineering and seven staffs were involved in this visit.
The factory is specialized in manufacturing the plastic based products such as rubbish bin, casing for electronic devises (charger, cd player, etc), sub assembly and full assembly of plastic parts. Wherein the main process involved in the products manufacturing is plastic injection molding.
Hopefully the students would not merely enjoying the visit, but also gain knowledge and new experience from the visit.
